Wim my good man, I really enjoyed hearing you talk about your idea here. What a great description of waters qualities, good and bad, which you incorporated into the song. I gotta tell you, the way you handle that git synth is truly a work of art. That opening riff is amazing, it just clicks with me, it sounds great yes but, the notes are so progressive and powerful yet melodic. I'll remember that riff man. You always have a slight funky touch to your rock grooves, so cool.
Then your guitar lead section, I don't care whos around, your one of the best when you put your mind to it.
Theres a cascading riff in there to towards the end section that just brought the waterfall in view. Some smooth melodic lead play in the ending section and then I really dig the way you wraped up the outro and led us out.
Breakthrough guitar work Wim....enjoyed mate

Loved this. It was very interesting hearing the background to the track, but the music itself was an absolute delight. Beautifully melodic, filled with dynamics and changes of mood that capture perfectly what you said you were trying to convey. Tremendous piece of work. My hat goes off to you.
Cheers

Definitely a winner WIM. This such a colorful piece full of melodys and hooks. The second section is a refreshing change with some exceptional guitar work and tones. Bass just cuts through and drives through out the entire piece. Well done my friend !!!!!

Your Ministry of Progrock (Grandprogrock) Hosts - Welcome!!!

Well, as I've said numerous times.......I love to listen as much as I love to play, and I now I get to have fun promoting again, as in the days of working in the record stores. I LOVE finding new artists and new music and I have found MIXPOSURE to be a GOLDMINE for PROGRESSIVE ROCK MUSIC.

I hope this Prog Rock Genre Thing catches on and we can do things to make it interactive. How? I don't know, but suggestions.....volunteers.....ideas.....anything will be GREATLY appreciated. In the meantime, my half-brain will be working away to come up with things to do or ways to promote our GREAT ARTISTS.
PEACE and PROG ON, Brothers......hehehehehe

~Rob

As Rob and I are building this page (now with 9 songs) I've come to realize how much I love it here. This has blossomed in a few short days into such a magical blend of progrock from such wonderful artists. I am hearing all sorts of styles, attitudes, vibes, approaches, and it's sweet music to my ears. In my book it's a testament to the beautiful creativity and imagination to be found inside this genre.

I also love hearing from the artists themselves. I think Joe in one of his comments here said that it moves artists more away from the 'virtual world' and closer to the real and personal world. Couldn't agree more. It really is a pleasure to be associated with this endeavor. We'll be attempting to cycle more progrock artists into the spotlight in the future. Happy listening to all!!

~Blake
