Well I was thinking more rush,hemispheres era...
The guitar is classic Lifeson in feel.
But that is only a sub tone to the full palette.
It is true that it feels VERY short,but I think there is most likely a very good reason...
Most likely a bridge song between two larger pieces would be my guess.
It is classic rock in the truest sense of progressive.
Progressive artists will do everything from a two minite interlude to a thirty minite rock opera...
What it is though is PERFECTLY executed,there is not a single momment that feels redundant,not a chord that isn't carrying something with it.
Classic and excellent.

Loving this track guys, yep..a hint of Tull. Dig the sound of the 12 string, great picking in the opening movement. Henry!! your vocals are pure excellence. So many ideas popped into my head listening to this, keep going guys its already a winner.

Love the intricate acoustic picking....(tull-meeting genisis) with the great vocals...interesting chord progressions...sounds like it gonna build up to something bigger...being as it's only a taste (i hope) to whats to come... curious? you bet.. SNAP!

love your unique singing henry and you compositions are always sure to be interesting and musically informed.. jack is one of my fave pickers.. whoa that IS short.. got to read your description.. WIP then?.. that must have been jack on the awesome sounding acoustic.. no solo as of yet.. your lyrics sounded like my kind of lyrics..
