hello brother.. you also remind me of our melodic master here.. chrickon.. that was a sweetly intelligent solo there.. yes.. indeed.. it's lovely.. and the fretless/acoustic coda section is awesomely beautiful.. and a nice last sound bow.. applause.. excellent.. thank you.. cheers..

Brian, I wrote this tune and then later also thought it sounded like a Carlton tune. So I searched thru my Carlton CDs and yep the main theme of the A section is a lot like Nightcrawler as you mentioned (although the B and C section is nothing like Nightcrawler). So here's the comparison that I came up with and thought mine was different enough, after all we all have our influences:
Larry's main motif for Nightcrawler: notes = B A G# F# E A G# ; B A E F# G# A G#
My main motif: notes = B G(natural) F# E C# F# E ; F# E C# B C# B
So comparing melody notes I thought it was significantly different. However the rhythm of the melody is very similar. All I can say is it must have stuck in my subcouncious and came back out later mutated without me being aware of it.

Oops ... the melody sure sounds like Nightcrawler to me. Maybe you could change it a little so it couldn't be recognized?

I met a Goldie once. Goldie Hawn. No ****! She came in through my inspecyion line at Logan Airport wheile I was still working immigration there. Cool girl and a lot of fun.
But, alas, I see you have written a love instrumental to a dog. C'est la vie.
But I absolutely love this song. Great tones, super guitar work -- nice producrtion -- bouncy, alive. Great groove. I could listen to stuff like this all day.

ohhh, this has that wonderful carefree sound of the 70`s...Let me just sit back and groove, I know instantly there`ll be no "jarring" edges here...Wow, what a surprise around 2.10 mins in...That was unexpected, very smooth and tastefully done...Much enjoyed...
Welcome and thanks for visiting my page. I hope you'll enjoy my tunes.

Music is once again a big part of my life. I, for the most part, set my guitar down for a couple of decades but recently have found my way back. And I'm loving it.
