PDX producerJacobthewilliam has been making beats since he was 12 years old. 20 years later, he has amassed a noticeable collection far beyond 1,000 songs. He has worked with countless artists as well as being credited with 5+ major label placements with various degrees of success (with a few artists you may have heard of). As well as landing a handful of t.v. & film slots thus far in his career.
He stands besides all artists who work with him throughout the creative process and promotes them all heavily not because he should, but because he truly believes in them as creators and as people.

He offers unique instrumentals of all styles made by hand with classic drum machines & hardware for a true authentic classic sound.
NO COMPUTERS USED DURING THE MAKING OF BEATS
If you are looking for some different instrumentals not just taken from some sample pack that thousands of other producers have used. The fact is, Jacob takes pride in not using anyone else's samples, loops, or drum kits - as he has always designed/created/ built his own samples and drums completely from scratch by evolving himself deep within the extensive process of either 1.) sampling obscure unknown vinyl records he's studied and dug deep to find, by 2.) sound designing/sculpting within any of his vintage drum machines that just hit the right way, unlike the stock drum sounds that come with all modern programs/DAWS, or 3.) literally creating his own sample database by recording numerous drum hits from his personal access to an immense collection of vintage drum sets [borrowed from his brother who is an avant collector]
So if you combine all of this, it goes without saying that Jacobthewilliam has a sound that is unique only to him and Is unlike anybody else you've previously come across.
Furthermore, as a multi-instrumentalist, band leader, and songwriter as well, Jacob offers a stylistic variety of moods for you to browse through. Generally speaking,.. if you're seeking some solid rap beats to bring out your lyrics, or maybe you need some storytelling beats with a deep dramatic, cinematic vibe - or some east coast type beats with that old school vibe to display your knowledge or acknowledge your influences, some gangsta beats that you can flex on, west coast beats to unwind on - or anything in between from R&B, Pop, Electronica, and yes, even rock styled instrumentals consisting of real instruments played live by Jacob and his band...
