The summer seems to have taken leave
For the tree’s are turning gold
Warm sunny days
But the nights are turning cold
Intro 1
The geese are flying from ah northern sky
Their songs they fill my heart
As they sing to the breeze
I watch summer time depart
Intro 2
There’s a fire in the stove and a quilt on the bed
And the woods piled high in the back yard shed
Fall chores are done
Let the winter come
Intro
Refrain
And there’s frost on the vine in the morning time
And the fields are all a blaze
And the wind through the leaf’s
Seem to bring me peace of mind
And oh I’m fond of the mountain pond
As the fog lifts from its face
For an artists hand has painted it with grace
Intro 1
Goblins on the run little witches bring fear
But the world so safe cause superman’s near
So trick or treat, smell their
Tiny feet
Intro 2
Now apple cider and pumpkin pie
Always where a friend of mine
And oh so soon it will be
That turkey time
Refrain
And the ice on the pond and the snow in the air
Make some despair but I don’t care
For the painting of the scenes
Always brings out dreams in me
And the scent of the pine and burning leafs entwine
And draw me back to another time
And the artists hand paints his final lines
For his picture waves good-bye to summer time
And I always seem to cherish the fall time

I think many know I am not a big fan of country but I really enjoyed this track. Great mix and love the guitar wailing in the background.
Nice job!

Played for alot of years in basement bands doing bars and such. As life changed it's course towards wifes and kids, the guitars got dusty. As fellow members retired from their real jobs we decided to try it again but have some fun this time around. Well we did it for 3 years doing campgrounds and coffee shops and that was enough, tooooo old to haul equipment and not good enough to have a road crew, so I as others, decided to have some fun recording my tunes to the biggest audience anywhere, the internet. I live in Churchville, New York which is west of Rochester, matter of fact just down the road a peice from Razmuth. Thanks to Raz who found me on Sound Click and talked me into trying this site, good move. Many thanks to everyone on this site who have worked hard to create it and maintain it and give me the outlet I need.
