Verse 1
The scent of the pines, floats along with the breeze

The scent of the pines, floats along with the breeze
And the morning light glimmers, as dew drips from the tree’s
There’s a hint of some smoke, which smells oh so sweet
This must be, where heaven and earth meet
Verse 2
The majestical mountains seem to reach up towards the sky
And the pond waters glisten, as the sun starts to rise
And the sounds of silence, echo’s through out the hills
And I pray to god, forever will
Chorus
And the songs of the loon whisper thoughts in your mind
Of a long ago day, and a long forgotten time
And the echo’s of thunder, sound throughout the peaks
Sending chill’s through your soul, as Floodwood Speaks
Verse 3
As we sit by the fire’s light reflecting our life
Playing games, singing songs, and forgetting our strife
And our children’s eyes sparkle as the loon sings it’s tunes
Singing love---- songs, to the moon
Chorus

Love the rhythm sequence, brought to mind many folk songs I know. Lyrics are great as it the balance in the mix. Catchy hook with a nice delivery, Reminds me of Roger Mcguinn I really liked this song. Nice one

<p>Played for alot of years in basement bands doing bars and such. As life changed it's course towards wifes and kids, the guitars got dusty. As fellow members retired from their real jobs we decided to try it again but have some fun this time around. Well we did it for 3 years doing campgrounds and coffee shops and that was enough, tooooo old to haul equipment and not good enough to have a road crew, so I as others, decided to have some fun recording my tunes to the biggest audience anywhere, the internet. I live in Churchville, New York which is west of Rochester, matter of fact just down the road a peice from Razmuth. Thanks to Raz who found me on Sound Click and talked me into trying this site, good move. Many thanks to everyone on this site who have worked hard to create it and maintain it and give me the outlet I need.</p>
