<p>"no DJ has dowloaded any of your songs"</p><p> </p><p>thanks alot </p>

Obviously they were downloaded before the DJ download button was put in place, since I have heard your tracks on shows!
To expand on Kooder's comment, politely asking djs for airplay is a better way to get it than moaning!
My stats say the same thing, but I know that the DJs HAVE downloaded my tracks. Maybe even popping into chat when the shows are on & showing a bit of support for the DJs would help them know who you are out of the thousands of members & artists here.

Do you have any idea what and how many hours a DJ puts into their shows?
I can speak for all of us in stating that we spend up to 24 hours for each show give or take a few hours here and there. We not only choose the tracks and songs, we review them, contact artists who do not allow for downloads to have them send us the track, develop relationships with the artist, download the music into our personal files, retrieve those tracks and put them into our operating system called S.A.M., become knowledgeable on how to operate S.A.M., work out any glitches that occur, constantly search for new music, welcome new artists, try like hell to develop a following of listeners and chat folks, advertized our shows which involves coming up with new and innovating ways to attract an audience, post our shows with a new blog each time we air a show, fill in for other DJ's when they cannot make their show, encourage and teach new DJ's when they come on board, keep the spirits up on those DJ's who have lost their zeal to perform, engage the chat room, monitor our programs when in progress, send email notices to all of our fans and to our personal email lists telling them we on the air or will soon be, feel deflated when hardly anyone comes to our shows but get right back up and start to prepare for our next endeavor. I have probably forgotten some other things we do, but this is just to give you some insight as to what occurs to put on a 2 or 3 hour show.
We are VOLUNTEERS, we do not get paid. We do this because we love music and want to share with others what we have come to like.
There are thousands of members and artists here at Mixposure, you would think out of all those people we would see more of you supporting us and our efforts to bring you a new show when we air.

I am not a DJ, nor have I ever played one on TV. Although, I did play one one the radio, for a short time.
There are over 7,000 artists on Mixposure. I know those folks (the DJs) do the best they can, finding music to play. I know they *want* to find music to play. But there are less than 2 dozen of them, trying to sift through multiple tunes, uploaded by over 7,000 artists.
The DJ names are listed in a promo box on the front Mixpo page. You can get to any DJ simply by clicking their promo when it is visible in the box.
Have you ever considered just messaging one of the DJs to let them know you would like some airtime on MixStream Radio? You may find, if you ask politely, they will play your tunes.
One other thought - well, question: How often do you listen to MixStream radio?

...same deal for me Joe. I feel like doing a whole bottle of Jack with my friend Daniels.

I am thinking that if the track is marked for general download that it won't trigger the "This DJ downloaded" thing. If the track is only marked for stream with DJ download enabled then it would show up. Not sure, just thinking out loud...

joe nickerson is an award winning composer of chamber music with university honors and published and recorded compositions but above all he is a jazz musician. he played with among others, woody shaw, jon hendricks, julian priester and mike nock in his formative years but now says "I'm no longer a classic cover tune or mainstream jazz artist, rather a musician who believes in world music as trane did.. seeking to blend many genres into a fresh style of jazz." along with 2 nu jazz CDs displaying his individual style of guitar mastery, joe's currently working hard on mastering the saxophone and hopes to display that as well one day.
on the groovy disk are 3 of joe's strong original nu jazz songs.. one listen will show you his guitar artistry.. funk, jazz and metal/hard rock are all linked together and joe's lyrics will tell you the story.. ENJOY!
