Take My Hand Children
by: J. Crafton & K Bachman
Take my hand little children
Make a plan for the children
Won’t you take a stand for your children...
Take my hand little children
Make a plan for the children
Won’t you take a stand for your children
The whole world changed when the towers fell
And all that bore witness had stories to tell
The sabers were pulled then to take them to task
For the sins of a few a whole world had to ask
That we here be safe from such hurting and harm
And the leaders stood up in a state of alarm
But revenge it is bitter and the thing that you find
Is an eye for an eye makes two men blind
And all over the world there’s a mission we share
It’s the raising of children god puts in our care
And it ‘s sure that they’ll grow by the things that we teach
It’s sure that their grasp only shows what we reach
The comfort we get from the staff and the rod
Have left legions of brave men in Arlington’s sod
The world’s getting smaller we must lend a hand
We can’t lead our future to bleed in the sand
If there’s joy in your heaven then lets bring it to earth
Let the innocent stand as they did at their birth
Stop fanning the flames of your fear and your hate
Won’t you please tell the children that it’s never too late
Take my hand children
Take my hand children
Caus war’s been the same since the time of the flood
And liberty’s tree needn't grow in more blood
So lets get together in a season of peace
Grab your vengeance and hatred and give them release

Lyrics are pretty well written. The songs does have a good gospel mood for Christmas. Melody-wise, am afraid I have to say it's a bit plain. Merry Christmas.
