Growing up with Bob Ross as your dad basically guarantees that you will be immersed in music 24/7/365. So I've been singing since as long as I can remember. School talent shows, church choir, jamming with Dad in the basement, it came in many forms. Guitar came a little later when I realized accompanying yourself was a really cool thing to do.
