You gotta give back You gotta give back so much more than you take
You gotta step back You gotta think about the choices you make
Before it's all gone...Something's gotta give
You gotta stand up You gotta stand up now and set things right
You gotta wake up You gotta wake up now and open your eyes
Before it's all gone...Something's gotta give
Round and round and round it goes When its stops, nobody knows Rising tides and poisoned seas Mother Earth is calling out to you and me Something's gotta give If we're gonna live
We gotta reach out We gotta reach out to the ones who deny
We gotta speak out We gotta scream out to the sheltering sky
Before it's all gone...Something's gotta give
Round and round and round it goes When its stops, nobody knows Toxic waste and dying trees Mother Earth is calling out to you and me Oh, Something's gotta give If we're gonna live
Before it's all gone So our kids can carry on Oh Before it's all gone...Something's gotta give If we're gonna live

Im loving the message of this. And the arrangement, simple, but provides a soild foundation for amazing vocal work. Peace and Oneness. Jay

I'm a singer/songwriter who has spent my entire life chasing the muse. I started plunking around on an old upright piano as a toddler and was hooked from there. I learned music in school bands and church choirs, by listening to my older siblings' records and by jamming with local musicians over the years.

I've performed in various bands and solo for over half my life. I spent several years giggin' out with 'Hot Cargo' in the mid-'90s and then again in '06 - '08. More recently, I played with local pop-cover band '4 Now' and retro-rock original band 'Drift'. I even rocked the early '90s with a Dayton garage band called 'Therica'. I also currently focused on performing solo acoustic and developing my original music through Independent label Alpha Dawg Records, where I'll be releasing my first professionally produced CD in 2012.

In addition to performing music, I've really developed a deep love of the independent music scene and promoting all the wonderful music not enough people are hearing! I co-host a monthly independent online radio show through Reputation Media. I also do a lot of work with local musicians and bands to promote and support the arts in my hometown.

Basically, I'm just a free spirit inhabiting this energy field for the duration of my assignment. I find myself on a continuing quest to define my purpose, follow its path and remain true to the intuition that guides me...but, way down deep inside...I JUST WANNA ROCK!
