Oh, man -- you're the real deal. Fine song in the southern rock genre, but still fresh. Some where in the first verse I heard a keyboard hand swipe down sound -- loved it. This has a very "live" sound and a nice raw edge.
The vocal, lyrics, solo work -- all excellent. The only suggestion I have (personal preference when it comes to mixing) is to touch up the bass guitar so it's abouyt even with the kick drum (bass drum) hits. You could also roll back the kick drum, but I like to hear and feel that -- see how it sounds by punching the bass guitar so that when the bass drum kicks, it sounds like it's hammering the bass guitar. You might like that as an alternate mix.

Since then I have somewhat learned to sing and play guitar and I have recorded over 700 songs that I have written. Also, 4 screenplays and 2 short books.
My style is, I believe, unique and I write everything from country to rock and whatever comes from the universe. I work with several local talents on lead guitar, keyboards and tromboune.

Great song as-is, though. Good job.
