Busy Being Human

Got no time to sit around
And watch the world go by
Got too many worries on my mind
Sleepy-eyed and duty-bound
I put my needs aside
And p ray I'll have my fill in another life

I'm so busy being human
I've never learned to know
How it's like
To know what it's like in the now

Onerous years of no delight
This wicked life I lead
Ain't no time for resting on a cloud
Comfort's yet nowhere in sight
So how can I succeed
With too many things to do and care about
