Driving along theis country road,Ellis Paul on my radio What a way to go I cant get past the things you said, visions of you are dancing in my head,I cant let go I tried to drink you off my mind, that was just a waste of time but when I get in my car and drive everything seems fine.
I hurt you,you hurt me,but that aint the way that its supposed to be cant you see In another place and time,Ild be yours and yould me mine throughout time I tried to drink you off my mind, that was just a waste of time but when I get in my car and drive everything seems fine. look at you ,look at me what are we supposed to be can you tell me sometimes I cant stand the pain, but you bring it down like the rain, like a freight train I tried to drink you off my mind, that was just a waste of time but when I get in my car and drive everything seems fine. sometimes youre a pain in the **** ,but you keep my car filled with gas, what more could I ask If I say black you say white ,maybe thats why we fight . I think Im right I tried to drink you off my mind, that was just a waste of time but when I get in my car and drive everything seems fine.

I liked the first track, thought I grab another before I move on. This like the previous number is well written, with a nice vocal delivery. Once again crystal clear instrumentation. You have great writing style. Glad I found your page

Mark DelMedico is a solo acoustic musician.Mark plays classic/folk/rock ,Playing both original and cover songs.

Mark started playing guitar in 1975,by 1978 he was writing his own songs as well as playing many covers in bars and coffee houses in central NY.In 1980 Mark formed an acoustic duo with Jim Prichard, they were called Dark Horse ,they performed together until 1982 when Jim left to form a band.Mark was asked to join the band but declined,so he could keep playing as an acoustic act.Mark gave up live performing from 1985 until around 2003 when he started performing here and there. Now he is getting back into it as a full time thing.

Spring of 2008 Mark decided to record 10 of his original songs,he was looking for a place to record ,mentioned it to a guy he had met several times that is a very popular musician in the central NY area by the name of jon Liebing. Jon offered to produce and record the songs at his home studio Mark played acoustic guitar and sang lead.Jon also played acoustic and electric guitars, piano, bass, drums, harmonica, tambourine and sang harmony. The recordings were finished in June the cd should be out in September or October of 2008 .

The original music Mark writes, has been described as a mixture of folk/rock/country music not too country (think Neil Young,Tom Petty) I have heard people say his music reminds them of a mix of Beatles/Dylan/Lou Reed/Tom Petty and Neil Young which isn`t too far off the Mark.

The music Mark covers includes artists like Bob Dylan,The Beatles,The Strawbs ,Cat Stevens,Neil Young,James Taylor,Harry Chapin,Jim Croce,Crosby Stills and Nash,Crowded House,Tom Petty,Marshall Crenshaw,Simon and Garfunkel,ELP,Steppenwolf,Arlo Guthrie,Johnny Cash,Seals and Crofts,Spirit,Bowie,Ryan Adams,Procol Harum,Gordon Lightfoot,Bread,Eric Clapton,Jimmy Buffett and many others
