Have you ever loved someone so much, it hurt to breathe?
Have you ever loved someone that deeply?
I was once that much in love a long, long time ago
til she said these words to me so easy
I love you but I`m not in love with you
can someone tell me what that means?
I love you but I`m not in love with you
dumbest thing she ever said to me
Have you ever tried to live with someone who`s insane?
Have you ever been with someone that freaky?
I was once with one like that a long long time ago
til she said these words to me so easy
I love you but I`m not in love with you
can someone tell me what that means?
I love you but I`m not in love with you
dumbest thing she ever said to me
I love you but I`m not in love with you
can someone tell me what that means?
I love you but I`m not in love with you
dumbest thing she ever said to me
when the one you loved so much is causing you great pain
time to set out on you own believe me
when the love is gone and there`s nothing left to gain
staying with her makes you feel uneasy
I love you but I`m not in love with you
it `s finally making sense to me
I love you but I`m not in love with you
now I know exactly what it means

the first time I heard someone say this was when a friend of mine said it to his girlfriend, the second time was when my wife said it to me,we`re not together anymore but I thought it was a good song title and wrote it a few years after she said it to me

Mark, out of the 4 songs you posted, I like this one here & also "Waste of Time". Both are very decent & enjoyable tracks. Your guitar playing is also excellent.

This has that David Crosby "Teach Your Children" vibe about. Good songwriting and performance!

Mark DelMedico is a solo acoustic musician.Mark plays classic/folk/rock ,Playing both original and cover songs.

Mark started playing guitar in 1975,by 1978 he was writing his own songs as well as playing many covers in bars and coffee houses in central NY.In 1980 Mark formed an acoustic duo with Jim Prichard, they were called Dark Horse ,they performed together until 1982 when Jim left to form a band.Mark was asked to join the band but declined,so he could keep playing as an acoustic act.Mark gave up live performing from 1985 until around 2003 when he started performing here and there. Now he is getting back into it as a full time thing.

Spring of 2008 Mark decided to record 10 of his original songs,he was looking for a place to record ,mentioned it to a guy he had met several times that is a very popular musician in the central NY area by the name of jon Liebing. Jon offered to produce and record the songs at his home studio Mark played acoustic guitar and sang lead.Jon also played acoustic and electric guitars, piano, bass, drums, harmonica, tambourine and sang harmony. The recordings were finished in June the cd should be out in September or October of 2008 .

The original music Mark writes, has been described as a mixture of folk/rock/country music not too country (think Neil Young,Tom Petty) I have heard people say his music reminds them of a mix of Beatles/Dylan/Lou Reed/Tom Petty and Neil Young which isn`t too far off the Mark.

The music Mark covers includes artists like Bob Dylan,The Beatles,The Strawbs ,Cat Stevens,Neil Young,James Taylor,Harry Chapin,Jim Croce,Crosby Stills and Nash,Crowded House,Tom Petty,Marshall Crenshaw,Simon and Garfunkel,ELP,Steppenwolf,Arlo Guthrie,Johnny Cash,Seals and Crofts,Spirit,Bowie,Ryan Adams,Procol Harum,Gordon Lightfoot,Bread,Eric Clapton,Jimmy Buffett and many others
