From the oozy percussive intro you are taken from the banks of the world's greatest river, down its lengthy pathway. From here you can see the pyramids rise in their archetectural beauty, around us fields where the farmers gather food for their villages. Over here we can see statues of Osiris and Anubis, and here comes the chariots, the Pharaoh leading the charge against the invading nomads.
All this from the slow moving vessel created by Matthew J Hoffman in a pyramid sculpture all of his own. A marvellous anthem of past times, from a modern day King of sound.

Oh yeah ... it's been a while since I last heard this marvel. Your wife's vocals are just so wonderful and complement the vibe, the theme of this marvelous soundscape. Superb tone on guitar, and a very, very neat drum beat. Matthew, your songs always lead me into another dimension ... and this is good!
A real treat, as always - big fan here!
Cheers
Heinz.
