Meg, I remember this one from the older Mixposure site. and I must say it is still as good now as it was before. Nice arrange, style, instrumentation, vocals and mix. A great sound from a great performer and inspiring musician. Very nicely done.
Peace and Blessings, John

After a long week I am treating myself this fine morning with a medley of your music. This song puts a spring in my step (albeit I am sitting down listening). The orchestration is well done. The scat vocal is great. The trombone solo is a killer piece of work. The flute (?) doubling the scat vocal after the solo is really effective. GREAT song.

oooh ... now why have I Missed you before now Meg .. .I am loving this song .. .love the Spanish style intro and then the sudden burst into what I would consider very much a (to my mind) Brazilain rhythm. I am wishing to be back in Recife or Olinda ... even Sao Paulo with it's teeeming streets is preferable to my own country right now !!! (It's cold here !!!) Lovely warming rhythm ... thanks for bringing some sweet memories of my fave country !! All the best - Gordon

The trombone solo is dead-on perfect vibe for tune. And the the placement of the individual sounds throughout the stereo mix is crystal clear, and very well blended / balanced. First rate tune, performance and production values. [My only question is about 1:00 + in I got a bleed-over from another tune. I do not think it was intended in tune. You might check. Then again what do I know?] Thanks for tune.

Born in Greenwich, Connecticut, and raised in Weston, Connecticut. Meg started out as a soloist back in 1977. She has also worked in a few rock & roll bands, of which Head First was the most successful, as well as Top 40 Bands. Meg has also recorded countless backup vocals for various original artists trying to get their music heard in the record industry. A well seasoned performer, mostly appearing in the eastern coastal area. She has toured Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Cape Cod and as far south as Florida (Orlando and Brevard County).
She has studied with Sal Salvador for six years along with another teacher, Steve Famigletti, who taught jazz guitar and Chamberlain’s styles of playing. She has studied voice for several years with Rose Finegan, Martha King and is currently studying with Jean Westerman Gregg. Her vocal influences, when narrowed down to one, would be Joni Mitchell and for guitar Michael Hedges.
Meg is not only a performer, but she has been an Entertainment Director for an exclusive club, handling bookings, promotions, as well as performing.
