Same Street...Different Town

<p>MENTIS WALL are Al Chantrey and Gavin McMahon. They originally started writing and recording under the name 'McMahon &amp; Chantrey' and recently completed their second album under that name. They have since started working under the name 'Mentis Wall' after deciding that there was much more to their existence as artists than just their names. They had stories to tell and beliefs to express and they wanted their listeners to know that, hence the unusual but explanatory name. Together, Mentis Wall take music in a direction that musicians have feared to venture for years; and that is take it back to the days when music meant something more than just a "beat" and some words. Bringing a mixture of Rock, Rock 'N' Roll, Blues, Soul and various other styles; Mentis Wall clearly feel and understand the music that they create. Both having grown up making music since very young ages, Al and Gavin live to entertain and live to make music.&nbsp;</p>
