Yes,drums could be crisper.
EQ some of the mids out and they'll cut without have to raise too much in the mix.
But anyways,tech stuff is not my thing in reviews.
What strikes me most about this instro is again,the songwriting.
You're thinking,and you are already thinking in terms of multiple layers of guitars.
But it is it's uniqueness that draws me.
It's doing no standard things,and it's having it's own identity,more over,your identity.
I suspect that either you have several more ideas like this or could certainly write more no probs.
I'm also seeing it in terms of say three quarts through an album,how that would provide colour and depth.
