Hard and heavy riffs and quite a dark song. The vocals are very powerful and deliver the song while setting the tone for it.
Guitars are excellent too driving the song with a pounding bass and drums but the vocals and the lyrics are the real feature of this song.

Several bands are doing rather well for themselves in this style right now.
I do feel at an advantage with your music as I've pretty much heard you from the start so to speak
But this,this is different.
Structure marks the difference.
Yes for sure the vocals are different to your work in OS, but it is the song structure that marks the real difference.
OS was at heart improvised around ideas.
This is songwriting in the strictest sense.
Patterns and forms set down.
Over all very good sound as well I might add.
I think I need to listen to some others before I get a clear idea of "Band image and direction",but I'd say from just this one track Mike that you have it all pretty much nailed down.
Studio it transmits,live it would thunder.
Lyric wise,yes ultra dark gothic.
And why not.
Place for all styles.
I must admit to being abit of hellraiser hard-rocker myself as a young man.
These are your formative years.
As a guitarist,you would have knocked spots of me.
As a songwriter,I see great things ahead.
Learn the power of words.
