Patience, emotion. Great specimen Mike!! A good lesson here for songwriting. The use of emotive attack, and then the release is just damn superb. Truly a short masterpiece complete with everything, including the vox/lyrics/performance. Top notch man! Love it. ~Blake

This is a good tune, builds up nicely and got good dynamics. Voice fits song like hand in glove.

Makes me so happy to meet you again Mike - you belong to my favorte vocalists in the indie music scene and I've missed you since MXP's departure. "Where I Am" is just another rock monster with feeling, energy and passion and most creative structure, transitions and sound design! WOW!

Like the tune Mike. Nice use of instruments. The guitars and piano work well but the drums are not working for me. This tune is pretty powerful and the drums to me should be a focal point. They kind of sit back in the mix. It might just be me though
