Is 8 minutes too long for a song?

Probably not radio friendly at 8 minutes but it was songs like Stairway and Freebird that allowed dj's to get a bathroom break in.

What's a radio?

8 minutes ok sometimes but maybe not for every song. Radio likes shorter 3:00 or less.
