UPDATE ON MUSIC FOR THE KIDS' ALBUM!!!
<p><span style="font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif; font-size: large;">Hi everyone!</span><br /><span style="font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif; font-size: large;"> The latest news on the album is :-</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif; font-size: large;">CD Baby have given us a special rate for posting the album with them </span><br /><span style="font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif; font-size: large;"> (it will only be available for download, as physical CDs involve more outlay)</span><br /><span style="font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif; font-size: large;"> The album will be available first on Mixposure then on CD Baby</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif; font-size: large;">UNICEF have finally given us an answer :-</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif; font-size: large;">We CAN’T use their logo, but we CAN state that all proceeds will go to UNICEF</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif; font-size: large;">We hope to have the album on sale by the end of September (still a couple of hoops to jump through, lol) .</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif; font-size: large;">Once again, thanks so much to everyone who is involved in this project!</span><br /><span style="font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif; font-size: large;"> Special thanks to Dazed for his invaluable help!</span></p> <p><span style="font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif; font-size: large;">By the way, the Executive Director at UNICEF Switzerland tells me that charity CDs don’t sell well!</span><br /><span style="font-family: comic sans ms,sans-serif; font-size: large;"> LET’S PROVE HER WRONG!</span></p> <p> </p>

This is such a wonderful idea and it makes me smile to know there are still selfless people as you and Reiner. Thank you for that and we can only wish for the best for the project. "acts of love never go wasted"
Whether the people in the offices are grateful or not, the money is for the kids, not for them, so bugger 'em!
We've decided we'll open a dedicated paypal account & make direct donations from that!

But I agree, it's petty!
I say look into another charity. They appear to be UNGREATFUL by not allowing you to use thier logo when the money is going directly to them. To ME that makes no sense and sets off an alarm.
Point no#2: The fact that UNICEF switzerland DISCOURAGED rather then ENCOURAGED album sales....that also sets off another alarm.
Perhaps a good and GREATFUL charity would be The American Cancer Society. I know for a FACT they would appreciate and encourage
I am proud to have a song upon the album and I wish you well with the project and it's sales.
IMHO it is petty to not allow you to use their logo but take the money.
However,it's for the children so we must overlook the silly ways of adults.
If it helps one child,everything is worth it.
I commend you and the others involved for making it happen.

Yes, even one child's life being made better makes this all worth it!
But I DO hope that EVERYBODY will push for sales please!!
