Hex On My Ex is a real good song for Halloween. I dig the dynamics in this song and the all the vocals. Great drums and bass. Let us know if the Hex works 'cause it might come in handy for a friend one day, lol!
It was upon a storm-lashed evening, as the wind howled like a jilted lover through the gables of my ancestral manse, that I first encountered the infernal confection known as “Hex on my Ex.” —a rhythm most infectious did seize my limbs, compelling even my gouty foot to tap in time.
The composition is a devil’s bargain: a pop-rock incantation cloaked in velvet production, its structure as precise as a mortician’s stitch. Hooks abound—barbed and gleaming—each one a melodic malediction that lingers long after the final chord has been exorcised. The instrumentation is executed with surgical flair: guitars crunch like dry bones , while the drums throb with the urgency of a heart buried alive.
In sum, “Hex on my Ex” is a delightful danse macabre—equal parts spite and sparkle. A very fine an enjoyable entrant to the Mix Holloween song contest.
