I'd agree with tdelecce, the guitar sounds could use some work for a revised version and maybe beefing up the mix as a whole. But at least you got a whole song down, which is more than I do most of the time!
Really love the soothing sounds of this. I remember a film soundtrack called "Mississippi Masala" that blended similar cultures in its music. This is a beautiful piece of music and sure took me away for a couple of minutes...thanks!
Nice intro. I love the Indonesian influence. this is really cool it has a meditative quality about it. the performance is great. excellent timing and execution of phrasing. great Job.
The "Soul" is a living reality, that we are meant to experience here on "Earth"
It brings into your life a radiant joy, wholeness, love and sence of purpose
You can feel & hear the Soul from "Vesa" in this "Floating Mantra"
how did I miss this when it came out WOW, what a great collab, everything works like magic here, great production, love the rythm arrangments for the guitar.
Hi Vesa--that is some sweet guitaring man--beautiful tone and flows nicely--might be your best todate!!Takes me the sweet bluesland!
Wow, Vesa goes Alternative ! Loving the sound my friend and your playing just keeps getting better and better, Very inspiring work of art!
This song is unique and special. A fascinating intermix of sounds and styles that is a surprisingly enjoyable listen.

the first india blues i've ever heard... with all the qualities of both "worlds". peacefull and meditative with some sweet guitar/sitar slides. good work on the tablas, too!
Hey Vesa! I really like the mellow quality of this piece. It so well put together! Very nice Work!
All the Best
Lindsey
Lovely meditative feel. An unusual sound mix; seems like I'm hearing the acoustic, slide, sitar sound & dobro coming together often at the same time...& definetly an overlapping. A fine sound mix by your studio friend. More listens. Great music; genre mix. Cool percussives & that deep didjeridu works nicely.
I've always enjoyed playing with Ed Drury...he is an amazing talent, mostly known for his didjeridu, but he plays so many instruments well. We've done a half dozen or so collabs. since '04, -just a treat to play with him.
Thank you Mel, very kind of you. It does have abit of fusion, so I'm hearing different things each time I listen to it. Appreciated.
hello vesa long time no talk to i still see you are at it.......... love what im hearing i love the indain feel to it you keep making good music
The Sitar sound in slide what a way cool concept! Loving this one!! awesome production guys! Holley
Vesa and Ed, love this Eastern meets blues sound. It reminds me of the 60's, and the tastes and smells of incense and sitting relaxing while waiting for a concert to begin. Really enjoyed this. Wishing you well, Melse
I thank you folks for the very great reviews/comments...this was one I've been striving for awhile, & I knew my good ole friend Ed Drury could do something cool with his well known didjeridu playing, more subtle than usual, but it works for this music, & that guy is multi-talented -good at many instruments. The new friend's studio use -had some unexpected unique efx come in-messin about, left them...fusing guitar/overdub with an unusual warbling, quivering, echoy delay...cool, eastern meets west blues
Thank you for all the kind comments on this exploration with eastern sounds & slide guitar.
My thanks to Ed Drury for the great percussion & the didjeridu...done so well....in a meditative ambient atmosphere. Like it.
Hey Visa, some wonderful sounds coming out of that variax eh? Wonderful use of the slide and blending the moods presented here in this track. Sounding a bit G. Harrison. Pleasure to listen to this one. Great job!! Happy Holidays from down south (but still the frozen zone). Blake
This is absolutly outstanding and hypnotic. Absolutly great playing and top notch mix. This song has the touch to let me float away to the rivers and fields and by the way forgot the real liefe, thanks for this journey Vesa.....shine on.....
Chris
Hi Vea my friend...been a while since I was here on the mix...just returning now as been too occupied with eprsonal things. However what a nice sound to return to...I love the eastern flavour of this...very sweet sounds indeed. A definite ave. Wish you all the best...ton ami...Gordon
