Dark, moody and edgy. The gregorian-esk chants and to the simmering flavour. Very tasty. Nice one Bill

Vesa,
Recently spent a little time in the Mississippi delta and this tune brings back the imagery.
Backroads and cotton fields and the home of where it all started.Good stuff.-jeff
Thanks all for this most kindly reviewed tune. My fave also maybe because it I hear different thing each time I play it; even though it is quite minimal; with a good solid collective sycned rhtyhm that seems perpetual. Refreshing to hear it again.
Oh wow, this is quite wonderful!
these blues are so and pure--they win my heart everytime you play them--tasty lead guitar work and that bass line done by the guitar--sweet--love it--put you in blues genre spotlight next!! mark
This tune is really my fave, & it's so refeshing to give it a revisit, like the fact my son keeps that coolness on his bass playing. Stefan has been an inspiration. Rob Grant -you said it well, with the "multiple track leads being cool" -envelops the slide, yep, siree-thanks
Thought this was a new one...well don't matter, like the kid on bass, nice riff, cool slidppin slide, Kinda earlier Ry Cooder like style, this tune really kinda melts together like an egg on pavement on a hot summer highway day...lol like it...
very sweet, laid back guitar medley. Good work. Listening to this song eases my days worries.

Hello Vesa,
"My Lone Highway Blues" once again lives up to your excellent slide-guitar-skills reputation! Whenever I hear you play like this I want to travel north with my accordion, sit on the porch with you, suck down a few brew-skys and make mad music!
all my best,
michael palmieri
After I heard the track Adrenergy, I have the urge to listen to more of your track but I choose this Blue track since you said you are going way toward the Blue genre. The overlaying of this tune is persistance and irresistable, in its flow and crossing. Although the recording is not quite up to expectation but the enjoyable in the sliding is worth while, already fully redeemed for the recording issue. Bob was right, multiple track leads are cool and interesting.
With million of love from Singapore.

Hey Vesa, tonight I've enjoyed your Lone Highway Blues.
In this warm Italian night this one fits perfectly...
Cool guitar playing, loved the solos and the rich sound.
Really enjoyed and thanks for the download... gonna upload it on my mp3 player and have more listen in my garden tonight!
Cheers, my friend.

Too long between tunes, my friend, but this one will help ease me back in quite comfortably. You have a most distinctive style that suits my senses well. There's a porch scene in the recent Dylan biopic, I'M NOT THERE, that this could rest gently in.
Interesting piece of blues work with all the bits weaving throughout. Not sure how you pulled all the bits together, but it works. Cool tune.
Paul
Adoroable rhythm guitars and warm mood, gives impressions of peaceful landscapes under a mercyless sun and an endless travel... far away from the big cities. Great to hear you again, Vesa!!!!
Pascal
Thank you ever so kindly...made my day. I panned thru your tune; this shift into Mixposure kind of gives an uplift to many artists I feel. Now with Funender Music site gone dead, this will lesssen the sites and bring out the best in this one. I think we'll all appreciate this more, esp. with more reviewers hypoed up (lol) but true.
Glad to have you back from your rest.
Do take care & again thanks Rob. -Vesa.
Vesa, you set a nice pace for a Highway Blues song with the straight ahead rhythm and occaisional slide rhythms....Multiple track leads are cool.......liked the slide work.
Rob
Vesa
How are you mate ?
Well nice blues piece...
Aptly titled.
Interesting cross over of riffs...
Nice feel to this mate...
All drifts by,like the landscape...
Yep,just sits there in a very nice groove.
Music for the highway.
Nigel.
My man Vesa.. sounds like you are so relaxed playing this on the porch... enjoying the mind set blues attitude behind the sound... you offer a nice change of pace for my ears my friend.
