The first thing that catches my ear is the synth work. A cool feature to add depth to the song. Great lyrics and vocal style. The guitar strumming holds the song together like glue. Well done Max!

I did not know that Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil wrote the song! I consider myself to be first a songwriter and then maybe a performer, so I always look to see the writers of my favorite songs

Excellent Gary ~ as mentioned by @farrell-jackson also one of my favorite Animal songs ~ i used to sing along with this many years ago...& I prob still would ~ I love this song & awesome what you have done with it ~ shucks it's not downloadable I would DL this in a heartbeat

This is one of my favorite Animal songs. I wore my Animals album out with all the replays. I can hear some Eric Burdon inflections in your vocal at certain spots. Nicely done on your rendition of this cover Gary!
