The first thing that catches my ear is the synth work. A cool feature to add depth to the song. Great lyrics and vocal style. The guitar strumming holds the song together like glue. Well done Max!

I like the delicate melody over some lovely but simple chord progressions. Also liked the mandolin? I always think that 2 stringed instruments played together, in harmony, is one of the lovliest combinations. The fragile sounding vocal was just perfect. A very affecting song.

Mandolin! Nice touch adding it in there. I like the open spaces in the lyrics. I am waiting for some harmony vocal in the chorus (subtle and quiet, like the mandolin). I think that would be the last touch to add for a solid song.
You two are really sympatico. Brett's got a wonderful ability to interprety your material Lex and this is just a delight. Sweet, lovely tune with a gentle but very important message for all of us. Lovely work

I feel the cold...you put it right out there with these great lyrics...fine sound, like the mandolin, (I'm sure it is). Very fine emotive tune. Nice bright sounding guitar; & the two instruments always a fave combo sound of course. Great song Lexz. Love it. Good Brett; fine chemistry here.
