Really nice work by the sax player. It's rare to hear a sax played in key and hitting the right notes while playing through country blues. They reach for those jazz chords that aren't there and end up creating a train wreck. Not here. not today. bloharp
At first I did a double take seeing Slap Johnson's name. Upon reflection, I shouldn't have been surprised at all. This is a collaboration that was meant to be! How beautiful that it's a North American musical tradition (with roots in W. Africa) played by a Canadian, an Italian, and a Brit! Truly contemporary World Blues!
Hey man...super track..this really is a great mixture between authentic blues guitar and post popularised blues..a trip back in time but forwards as well..Slap does his thing splendidly as usual...fantastic ambience!..cheers planet
I always related blues music to Elvis Presley. I listened to his Love Me Tender when I was a very young boy. This music reminds me of his golden time, too bad he is not around now. The saxaphone is definitely mind blowing, awesome twist with a huge passion, I like it this way. Smooth melody pathing, a very sensational skill together with the piano.
With million of love from Singapore.

LOVE this sound! Awesome slide and Sax playing and to top it all off I hear a piano!! Such a nice mix!!! AWESOME!!!!
Excellent. Sultry and smooth. That's quite a trio. You guys play great together, and the recording is very good, too. Ready for prime-time.
jk
I appreciate the reviews very much fellow artists. I'll say thanks on behalf of Slap Johnson and again Corrado, who had replied already, anyway, to everyone. Very fun tune to do, felt effortless, with 2 such FAB amazing artists. Thanks again.
excellent traditional blues implementation Vesa. Great execution and timbre...sax, guitar, KB...all done harmoniously and arranged superbly. Awesome man! ..Blake
Much appreciated new comments folks. Truly kind reviews on a tune I'm happy to have come out the way I envisioned. All's cool. Thanks so much friends from all of us. All parts fit to me like a glove...happy blues...-Vesa.
Thank you so much guys for the kind reviews. Yeahhhhh! I can't get over that dynamo fave sax sound by Slap Bone...it's just such a neat addition after Corrado & I did two duos collaborations. Great arranging to let everyone be nicely enveloped by Slap on the sax. Could be longer but ever so sweet to my ears; thanks Mr. Rossi & Mr. Johnson...GREAT FUN!!
Vesa..... exceptional...track !! Beautiful work on the slide.....yea bro !!Slap's sax is oh so sweet.
Then add the incredible talents of Corrado.....you have a winner my friend. EXCELLENT !!

I've got an idea for you, to make a longer version with bass & percussion. That would be cool...just a thought. Still like this the way it is. Nicely dynamic...all around; Corrado fills in great.
-Your other Bro.
Now, this was an absolute pleasure to hear! What a crew of talented folk! You gents made my evening. The git, sax, and keys really complimented each other. Sounded like you were all in the same room, suckin' down beers and playing. Wow!! Thanks for the heads-up Vesa!!
Hey bro, maybe we can get Slap to play with a long awaited Brothers in Blues tune...how about a large orchestral mix of all the fave blues instruments...like from harp to brass with whoever would join in...a lady singer is a must...he,he
Think on that one- Your bro.
Awesome, the Sax by Slap fits perfect. Sweet..Collab piece all around a real joy to listen too for sure. The arrangement right on. Thanks for sharing this one.
Arthur
Wonderful old fashioned mellow start to this Blues Shuffle, then that sax starts and I go all weak at the knees!! The piano is just Mr Chilling in that smoky room, with the lights down! Loved this, great collab guys! Melsi
International Blues! How cool! I love this! This is a collaboration team made in Heaven! The three of you blend together stylistically to perfection. It's easy to imagine the three of you doing this in the same room, playing spontaneously in response to one another. And a free download? What a gift! Thank you guys!
This is really excellent, magic combination of guitar and piano. The icing to top it all was that super sax line. Great track guys very well done
Awesome! It was my pleasure to play with this one, Vesa, and I've really enjoyed that beautiful sax!
Great playing and excellent performance from Steve over your cool guitar... great sound and catchy mood!
Happy and honored to be featured in this fantastic Blues, my friend.
Corrado
Well, 12 seconds in and I have a BIG smile on my face......Ah here comes the piano, really cool, unique sound; slide, sax, and honky tonk piano, don't get much better!
This should be in the soundtrack of some movie.
Great work!
Whatta Gem Bro ! I knew this was a sure fire winner. Not only that but a true Global effort when 3 guys from 3 different countries can get together and put a great song together. Congrats to the three of you ! - Bilbozo
An Amazing trio, so well syncin' them blues together; with that AWESOME sax making things just got more perky. I would say it's a real fine blend of instruments guys. So nice, just loop & loop it..great slide & piano. Fantastic mix.
Bros.
Yo Vesa,
Very satisfying blues tune....going into the Fridaynight play list
Cheers
Mack
Wow, gents - this is a bluesy treat, to say the least. Genuine, fine Blues. Vesa, I can't get over your skills playing the slide - it sounds fantastic. The sax is wonderful, and Corrado's key work is perfect. Too bad it was soooooo short ... could have listened for much longer
