Really liked that a lot!!! A nice cross of Pat Metheny and Terje Rypdal, to me.......BUT!!! Very original, not meaning to be comparing. Great Job!!!
great song the contrast between the lapsteel and the other instruments is great , the bass and drum s are really nice with a little syncopation thrown in and around . reminds of some the early country rock pioneers POCO, Flying burrito brothers,New riders of the purple sage, JD Souther very nice song.
I actually listened to this one yesterday... listening again and my verdict stands: it's an awfully well conceived song! Love the vocals, the arrangement. Through my monitors, everything about this one "sits just right".
Anyway, I've downloaded the tune yesterday and am planning to play it on one of my future Saturday Night Rocks shows here on Mix Radio!
