This is excellent Jasmine. Perfect World. I love the tone quality and expression in your voice . In terms of song writing, this composition commences, and then comes around to a chorus / lyric hook. the line i refer to is "i ,,, want you to know ... " etc. To my ears, that is where one of the song's crescendo's occur.
pardon me if i misuse terms like crescendo , etc. I don't technically know anything at all about song writing and music theory. In guitar class at school , i got straight F's all the way until the teacher literally kicked me out of guitar class. - so , i don't know any theory or rules, i just know when i hear music that ignites my spirit , and sets my creativity ablaze. I'm tempted to write more things that i like about your voice and this song- but, instead, i'm gonna go and sulk wishing this song was to me. ,,, ha ha,, forced smile. : ) -- but seriously,, it's beautiful Jasmine !!!!
