Well done boys from Nanaimo! I had forgotten that Hoyt Axton had written this song. The version I'm most familiar with is by Three Dog Night. The Wrecking Crew is sounding sharp!

The starting guitar on the right side is so cool. It has a bit of Reggae rhythm and tone to it. But, it's all rock n' roll to me. I dig the pounding drums. "Love is like a railway station" is a...

Vesa! Great stuff dude! amazing the sounds you can get with that variax! Nice touch on the slide!!!!
Vese, I love this track. Warm and relaxed. Every nicely placed note counts. Not too showy. Letting the music breath within the cool, minimal arrangement. Trad blues, and yet as original as ever!
Cheers
Richard
Nice to hear a 'bad' live recording, lol, I mean bad as in cool. Great sound on that Variax/dobro electric sound - can smell a wiff of that green smoke in the air...you should've hit that drunk, who bumped your mic. Great club sound,I guess that's a part of it... some good steady players, laid back, could have been longer..but fine fingering/slide stuff
like it..your bro.
Her's a man whose shoving out so much material your gonna have a bigger back catelogue than BB King before too long. Nice bit of playing here. How it should be live and real nice work
Hello my fellow Canuck friend. just had to come by for a taste of the great slide blues you play. One thing you never do is disappoint...I loved it. I love the vintagfe nostalgic sound that comes along with it. Cheerts and congrats ! - Bilbozo
Thank you for the kind remarks. I think it's time to get my ole blues friends together to play some summery gigs. That was fun; reheared, but the recording could have been better; not bad for a club sound- beer clanking & a drunk bumping the mic. It comes with the territory; almost forgot lol
See ya's.
