OK, I listened to a few of your songs...who is singing? I absolutely dig that voice...it is the real deal full of emotion...and more importantly it is a distinct voice...really cool.
I really like this song a lot....I hear some potential here for an Indie film that could use a song that has some cool rawness and great lyrics.....well done guys.
Phil
well I like everything about this song I am no drum expert , still learning myself, when the song gets loud it becomes a very cool song , the soft to loud dynamic is great to my ears.
you all ususally keep things subtle and it is a comman style in Folk to have the drums kind low in the mix but I love it when you guys occasionaly pick up the beat with the bass and drums rocking out a little makes your song interesting .
the lyrics remind me of working nights and trying to sleep during the day in some motel ...ugh ...
I can relate
cheers

Very poetic. I love the kick at the end.
Another fine melodic piece. The guitar playing works it all out so well following along the good emotive vocals; another guitar envelops to embrace the rhythm and flow between great expressive lyrics. You come up with such simply done lyrics, that are so well composed, (like Dylan a bit, som symbolizm, not in terms of length) but they say alot and create visions, and metaphors of world unattachment..."let me sleep" cries to to "stop the world and let me go",...like the uptempo after...very clever & so well arranged. Love the guitars & they emphasize just so well the the message and feeling.
It gives me a feeling of if I was overwhelmed, taking on the world's anxt, as well as my own, I'd want to just go drift off in a cloud of an altered realm away from things I can't and don't care to change...
Just to be.
This is great poetry; tranquil mood. Love it. Into my faves guys. Another EXCELLENT song. Fine production.
Most IMPRESSIVE! -Vesa.
Damian and Tim, sorry to disappoint you, but apart from agreeing with Farrell's suggestion re the kick (which I wouldn't have thought of on my own) there's nothing I can really suggest here. Love the sense of ennui that you create with the sparse, but perfectly crafted lyrics and the minimal accompaniment. Not sure whether you've accepted Farrell's suggestion re vocal effects. If not then for once I don't necessarily agree with him. I think the vocals sound great. I really like the kick up at the end. I suppose if push comes to shove I might quibble about the guitar break, in that maybe it was a little too upbeat forthe context of the song. But that's really splitting hairs, so ignore it.
Cheers
Brian
More kick, lol! Actually more EQ on the kick down low at about 80hz or even 50hz to make us feel it. We need to feel it because it's a major yet subtle part of the song and you have no bass guitar. Again as in my other review, contrary to today's alternate rock vox, please more effects on the the vox. The vox level to instruments is great here as does the acoustic. Boost the kick's EQ and I think it will add a lot here. Good song!
Farrell
This is a nice smooth song.. Good lyrics and strong vocals... Love the part towards the end where it picks up.. Listened a few times.. Good Job.. All The Best, LP
Great feeling and expression! Dig the whole presentation of this song. Great job! Nice guitar and vocal. SMOOOOOOTH!!!!

This track is excellent, simple and very effective backing. Some expressive guitar work. However the vocals and the lyrical content make this a real stand out number. Tremendous performance. Really enjoyed this one well done
I didn't know what to think of this song when it first started, but the lyrics came in and INSTANTLY I got the feeling of when I was on the road for months on end. DID YOU GET THIS RIGHT!!!!! GREAT tune!
Another well written song. Your guitar and vocals fit well together. I like your vocal style a lot. I would vary the drums a bit more to make it match the nice guitar work.
Scotty
Well, I love this tune. Personnally I don't need more effect on the voices, I think it's just enough. Guitars are quite fine, in spite they seem to be taken DI ( or is there a mike ? ) , but the picking is perfect to me and the sounds remains very warm. Sure I'd like to hear a bass, but maybe there are other elegant solutions : a detune guitar one octave lower( mmh) , or a different choice for the percussion, I don't really like the programmed drums except if it looks clearly as what it is, so I can imagine the cheapest TR808 sound as possible ; alternative solution : rice in an empty can of beer. But I prefer the 8087 option. Cheers.
