Just by chance I stumbled across someones review of this track...so I thought I'd check it out for myself. Glad I did! Tasteful blend of styles, great playing throughout, great mix ... scores highly in every regard! REAL nice!
What a great intro, nothing like a classic organ, dig that big chord. Theres a fusion of styles in the groove, very cool. Man, you are one cool cat on the keys, this is excellent and the sound is nicely defined. wow!! then that guitar hits, I'm downloading this one for my best-of collection. Super track!!
won't be long before we're seeing snow storms here doc.. so let me start the season right with some cool music from you and gary.. this has a very old tango or gypsy jazz feel to it.. but the beat is modern and sweet.. certainly hear the classical strains as well.. your organ tone and chops are in awesome display on this number.. and gary sounds right at home in this "genre".. some real fire and shredding goin on there.. love the violin duo after that.. some lovely sequential writing doc.. it's got those 3 elements as strong as can be.. classical.. ethnic.. improv.. great music guys..
Hey DrC and Gary this is a good one! I like the merging of genres like Classical, a little Reggae rhythm, Gypsy, and of course good old Prog Rock. The violin and/or viola sounds as real as can be to my ears! Great guitar Gary and Doc the keys are always exceptional!

This is really a smooth, great song. I love your keyboard work in the middle. That percussive B3 sound is perfect. The strings are a great dramatic counter melody to the rhythmic feel. A real five star piece.

I heard this ealier on Mike-K's show. Guess what? It gets better with every listen. Beautiful progression.... The strings in the first section are tremendous !! The groove that kicks in ,is a perfect showcase for your solos.....
