Tuesday came and went unnamed

Our hungry ghost rermains unclaimed

Each attempt brings angry echoes

Whispers from our sunken vessels

Seasons changed while courage waned (yeah yeah)

Would you answer if I dared? (ring ring)

Meant to call but silence weighed

Like chains around my shadow-self

Tried to mend what pride had broken

Now words dissolve in midnight air unspoken

Our final breath—a pretty scar

Replayed in dreams where you still are

I wonder if you're like me now

Blue light in the dark, confined (and how)

Seasons changed while courage waned (yeah yeah)

Would you answer if I dared? ((Les yeux sans visage)

Meant to call but silence weighed

Like chains around my shadow-self

Tried to mend what pride had broken

Now words dissolve in midnight air unspoken

Perhaps you've shed our memory's skin

Perhaps we were each other's wound

I crave connection yet resist

Anima locked in tower tall (they say persist)

I swear I meant to call...

But time slipped through surrendered hands

I’m not meeting life’s demands (so far behind)

I’d erase it all
