Hang around like the leaves on an Autumn night
you fail to know who you are
You don't regret what you've done when you think you're right
and this time...
Hang around like the leaves on an Autumn night
you fail to know who you are
You don't regret what you've done when you think you're right
and this time they've pushed you too far
You've fallen down but you'll be just fine
feeling nothing and thinking its time you go
you're taking all the love that you are
taking all the love that you are
taking all the love that you are
Bow your head and watch as the season's change
Old memories hunting you down
Come again back to the starry days
your youth and dreams all around
You're falling down but you'll be just fine
feeling nothing and thinking its time you go
so you're taking all the love that you are
taking all the love that you are
taking all the love that you are
Ride away on the wings of a northern wind
swear your changing your ways
Stand up straight and pray they'll forgive again
cause all you've done shall remain

I am essentially a one-man band. Though I had a band for a while to play the songs live with only the bass player has ever recorded with me. I write, record, engineer, produce, play, sing, mix, and master all these projects on my own. So that may account for some of their deficiencies but at least I get to execute my vision for the songs the way I want.
My goal is to somehow integrate doo-wopp (why did it cross that out?) and late 50s pop melody influences with an Americana roots-based songwriting approach (which I can't seem to get rid of no matter how hard I try) with the experimentation and instrumentation of mid-late 60s progressive pysch chamber pop. A friend of mine recently called it "modern freaked out Americana". I think I like that.
