First song that Texas Jake Lee and myself co wrote a song together. We've collaborated on some each other songs. Jake wrote the "hurting" lyrics, sang them , and played the slide. Doc composed the song and plays keys.

Pretty nice fade-in, & you've definitely got some "hi-energy" goin' for th' blues. Only problem (for me) was that th' recording was overshadowed by "mud"... heard the vocals fine, & enjoyed the organ, but there were spots where it needed more emphasis on ALL the instruments. Still gets a RECOMMENDED for hardcore jump-blues fans, though!
Doc is Volker Heigelmann, born in itzehoe, Germany about 120 years ago (52). Not much on talkin' 'bout myself but am an old rocker from back in the day. I'm trying to keep the true nature of blues, rock, jazz, swing, pop, R&B, latin beats, and so on in the lime light so we never forget. I am an multiple keyboard player. There's isn't a set of ivories I can't play. I'm a song writer (composer, lyrisist, arranger, producer, vocalist, and most certainly a true advocate of musical roots. I like all sorts of music of today, as long as it sounds good and has some substance. I've had a chance to collaborate with many fine artists. YEP, I'm an old dog but a very open minded one at that. Keep in mind, we are Indie artists and should never take ourselves too seriously. You should be playing for you and anything else that happens, well, that's a huge bonus.
Peace y'all,
Doc
