In Dreams

Here I am, with my thoughts of you,
Can't believe the worlds so cruel.
To take away the only light,
That ever made my Life feel right.

I think I may deserve it tho,
For I had your Love and let it go.
And now for all the tears I cry,
The only word I hear, is your "Goodbye"

I'd give away all I own,
The air I breathe, the love I've shown.
To spend just one more night with you,
To hold you close, and keep you through.

However long your'e here with me,
Allow my thoughts to be set free.
Just close my Eyes and drift away,
In Dreams, thats where my Heart will stay.

Life I guess can be so tough,
And when your'e hurt, or had enough.
Theres no reprieve or helping hand,
That lifts you up, and helps you stand.

Just emptiness and nothing more,
I hide behind my own front door.
To face the world, I just cant do,
Babe my Heart, still beats only for you.
