Started playing drums at age 5, taking lessons from a professional teacher. Played in a couple of bands, nothing to write home about... When I was 11, I had major back surgery and was in a body-cast for a year. Couldn't play drums like that, so took up the guitar, and taught myself by ear, a cheap cassette deck, and a tape of Cream Live. I've been playing guitar ever since, I turned 50 last August.

I can still play drums, but I don't own a set, and it probably wouldn't go over big in my apartment building anyway! So until I get up enough $Dough-Ray-Me's$ to afford a set of Roland electronic drums, the drumming you hear on these songs is, and will be curtesy of DIB, (Drummer Inna Box!), but I am playing all other instruments, guitar, synth guitar, bass, etc... and I sing like a rusty hindge, so no vocals, unless I get the nerve up one of these days, OR get someone else to sing!

I'm looking to get back into a band, it's been awhile and I miss jammin'!! Any bands in the ROCKville, (of course!), MD area looking for a classic rock/blues rock guitarist??

This has possibilities, but the drums obscured much of what was there for me.
