If the police don't close you down for a noise violation, it works like a charm. <a title="http://www.GigsterClinics.com" dir="ltr" rel="nofollow" href="http://www.gigsterclinics.com/" target="_blank">http://www.GigsterClinics.com</a>. </span></p>

Easily that much in downtown Dallas, too. Do you KNOW how much money that means to the bar? Significant, for sure. By contrast LSWC in McKinney (a small trendy town, and a small venue) still lets me pack the place with this technique and a good local following (on my mailing list).

I played in College Park Maryland near the university many times with my band, Primadonna, in the 80s. The place was called DeGenero's--I have serious doubts that it's still there.

Thakns for the comment, Digger.

hahahahha! i did that for years right off the mains on the board!right there at the university of Maryland...
{Collage Park Maryland}

you never need that much for power, and as long as your pa guy is pretty good you can let the good folks know just whats going on inside! and as long as the cops were cool..

i have to admit, i think by doing that, it was the difference of at least 30-40 people.. a night!

good post Mike!

peace,
