Standing in the rain isn't so bad. It has it's perks. It's a great place to be if you have the urge to cry & don't want people to know your business.. LOL
This is another wonderful track Scotty. Sad lyric, great vocals, and excellent musicianship. Enjoyed my listen!
All The Best,

This is a remix of an older blues tune of mine, technology is pretty cool !!
Singer, songwriter and lead guitarist Scott Perkins has been rocking and rolling since the 1960s. The self-taught musician wore the grooves off his first BB King record as a teen-ager. He hasn’t stopped learning and performing since, playing venues from Michigan to Las Vegas, Texas to Florida, in a variety of high-energy classic rock and show bands, including Dodge Street Band, a group formed in his home state of Michigan back in the late 1960s. Dodge Street first brought Scott to Florida in the ‘70s.
In the new millennium Perkins took on a new challenge: pulling together a solo act focusing more on his original acoustic music. Remaining true to his blues-rock roots, the BMI recording artist has written, performed and produced four albums of original songs, including his latest release “Ships & Giggles.” Released in 2010, the nautically themed cd draws inspiration from Scott’s travels aboard his 32-foot DownEast sailboat Chip Ahoy. His first cd, “Tiller Dreams,” also features songs from a mariner’s perspective with particular focus on America’s Great Circle Loop, which Scott, wife Cyndi and Chip Ahoy have twice completed in 6,000-mile circuits from their home waters of Lake Superior off Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula. Since then Chip Ahoy has become a moveable winter home, sailing down Florida’s West Coast to the Keys, returning North up the Alabama’s rivers in early spring.
Not for boaters only, Scott’s music remains popular in the blues, folk, Americana, classic rock and adult alternative genres. His third cd, “Bits & Pieces,” is composed entirely of original instrumentals, some of which have found air time in commercials and promotional videos here and overseas.
Scott’s musical influences include Mark Knopfler, Eric Clapton, Tom Petty, Santana and Bob Dylan.
Among the headliners at numerous clubs, regional festivals and benefit concerts up North as a solo act and as a member of the Hassle Family Band and with Dodge St. Band.
