<p>Baton Rouge native rapper Shell Shock began his musical journey while attending high school. Reading music, playing instruments, and blending sound became a second nature to this former drum major. During his five year tour in the U.S. military after graduating, he served in two operations: Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom, hence the artist name “Shell Shock” emerged.Born Victor Jerome Ennis, this artist takes great pride in his knowledge of the streets and his ability to overcome the pitfalls of the thug life. Influences of the streets were combated by the strong spiritual upbringing from his family.
