Get Your Groove On (Live)

<p>SHOCKHOUSE was conceived on September 27th 2008 on Fredette's 27th birthday. Joined by Poirier on guitar and Pilon on bass, the group jammed on several tunes and gave birth to two original songs. The three felt good about their chemistry and coined the name SHOCKHOUSE. They soon started to meet up weekly to practice French and English material with Poirier on vocals, but sought to find a lead singer to better suit the style of music they were writing. They invited Paiement on the recommendation of a friend in 2009 and upon jamming with the material that had already been written by the band, they agreed that there was a lot of potential and that Paiement's energy worked very well within the group. After sharing some of his own material with the band, Poirier and Paiement started collaborating on new material in hopes that they would refine their sound. Somewhere in between post-hardcore and post-grunge, SHOCKHOUSE tread on familiar as well as unknown territory. (in two languages!)</p>
