Love Rock but Metal is not my thing but this pretty good - not your usual cliches - interesting song structure, good singing (might have wished for a bit more ambient mix) great guitar playing. Great for this genre by Mix standards where there is a lot of metal. ftlpope

It was just another dark night up in the north when two guys came together to play some tunes. After months of jamming and listening to various metal bands, a little voice in Lasu's head said "we could do that". Few days later we started to make our own music. It could be seen that our own songs had potential but through poor equipment and lack of proper mixing it didn't sound that good. We also put a new kick to some old classics just for our own amusement and of course those ended up to our first album also. After our first album we upgraded our gear a little and formed what we now call the Sipher -sound. The band's name was changed as well to reflect this new change. The sound consists of two singers, catchy riffs and melodies and awesome solos in between. Sipher's songs vary a lot and this can be heard also within a song. The reason behind this could be found from our songwriting methods where both of us put our own musical preferences and views in the creative process. It seems that we are going to the direction of symphonic metal. Hopefully most of Sipher's history is still to be written...
