"Welcome To The Show" band describes as "Locker room metal" as it is inspired by sports which may seem odd at first. The song tells a story of a young athlete before his first major league game, being in the locker room thinking back all the hard work he or she has put in to make it this far. This song should be played at sports events, at the gym, before games and matches, jogging etc. wherever the listener would need the energy boost to tackle any obstacle.

Biography

We Are SLIXXX!

A Finnish-Slovenian super heavy - band, formed back in 2018 by brothers Niko on lead guitar and Toni Junnilainen on drums. Working as a duo was never enough, so the band found its final form fairly quickly, with Niko's long time friend and bandmate Iikka Jaaskelainen joining in on the rhythm guitar, Toni’s former bandmate Jani Pasanen on bass and last but not least, Blaze Hrovat found his way into the band with his phenomenal range and diverse vocal work.

SLIXXX started their journey by releasing two singles, "X Marks The Misery" and "Shut Me Down" in early 2022. They played live shows as well, including the biggest venues of their region, where they gained the reputation of a "hard-hitting and energetic live act". They also placed 2nd at a local band competition.

That same summer, they entered the studio again to record their next releases, which would blossom into an EP titled "Welcome To The Show". Along the way, they learned about the process of recording with "by any means necessary" -attitude and the band is ready to shed light on what they are made of.

The "Welcome To The Show" EP contains 5 new SLIXXX tracks, which show the band’s evolution and band members’ musical chemistry, yet come from different places musically.

Niko’s and Toni’s undeniable rock n' roll groove from playing together since childhood, Jani’s progressive and technical approach, Iikkas strong extreme metal background, all combined with Blazes diverse vocal work paved the way for the band’s own sound to be born, which they started calling SUPER HEAVY.

First single from the EP, "Bottle Of Dom", was released on March 31st 2023, along with a music video. The song paints a picture of a night we've all had. You are at the peak of your confidence and the world is yours, yet one drink can be too much.
