Such a sad story behind this beautiful song which you really delivered with emotion for sure. Love your vocals with the latin/folk sounds, also very pretty harmonies from your lady singer. A great listen but such moving words. Melsi

Pleasant & comfortable folk tine with a slow Latin feel. The bridge is especially melodic. Thanks for sharing / Mike

This is excellent, great performance with a superb mix. Just read the song info. It's a story that smacks of those with and those without. An eternal lament, cracking song very well done

It was the summer of 1969 and my father had orders to Vietnam. On the evening before he departed, he taught me the chords to "Home on the Range" on his Harmony arch top guitar. He left the guitar in my keeping and asked me to play him the song when he returned. I practiced till my fingers bled and I was ready for him when he returned. That spark caught fire after September 11, 2001 confronted me as it did so many people with the stark reality that our time on this earth is limited and our opportunity to create and share diminishes with each passing day. That feeling inspired me to pick up a pen, and my guitar and write my first song, I haven't stopped since.

I suppose you would call me a Singer/Songwriter which is a fancy way of saying that I'm a story teller with a guitar who uses modern day society, politics and relationships to weave an entertaining view of life through my twisted lens. It's the "twist" that I put on topics that makes my songs and performances unique and memorable. My style reflects the influences of the folk, rock and country music that I grew up with a heaping dose of satire or comedy added in for effect. Thanks for stopping by, I hope you like what you hear.

My first CD "American dReam" was just released on September 20th, 2009.
