Powerful, uptempo psychedelic electro-groove rock featuring nine squillion guitar riffs and basslines, vocoded guitar parts, fat drum loops and some intricately programmed acoustic drum kits.
Even features a big baritone saxophone part behind a busy bassline.
Second half definitely has something for fans of metal. Perhaps the most fun and grooving dirty guitar riff is left to the end.
Lead, psychedelic, screeching synth sound turns into a quite moving, ambient buzzing, soaring pad in the second half (just play the lower notes). It's also the final sound in the piece.
Bass is from a mix of programmed synth bass, bass guitar and electric guitar through an octave pedal. The fattest and funkiest bass part of them all is probably the latter.
Some massive drums at times, getting really cavernous in the metal sections when the reverb is turned up high.
Different type of reverb used for some of the quieter, grooving drum parts eg when behind the saxophone.
From 5 minutes on there is some nice slide guitar playing for a minute that leads into some good, psychedelic, smashing and crashing rocking.
Also has some nice little drum 'n' bass, filtered drum fills.
Great fun making this one and it's a shame to have had to stop. But good things tend to come to an end, of sorts. Now this must live on giving other people some rocking pleasure and inspiration.

Ah, I think I maybe forgot to reply to this. I've uploaded an improved version so maybe check that out, see if you notice any improvements. I've tidied up loads of elements and lengthened it a little. I still can't quite get the first 20 or so seconds right so maybe I'll give up. It's just not as good as I'd like it to be...

Extraterrestrial trying to make First Contact through the medium of powerful music transported from a distant galaxy, filtered through human-based algorithms and audio processing techniques to communicate and move all of mankind. Or at least just those with an appreciation of far-out sounds and lengthy epic pieces of progressive music.
On my planet, these compositions are of such fundamental value, they have been encoded in our biological makeup as they give us strength, wisdom and guidance as well as being some damn fine rocking grooves to trip out to.
