Song Lyrics
What Does It Get Me
Copyright 1981 Dan Epp
Well I've given everything I have but nothing seems to change the way you feel for Me
All the lies I listened to...
Well I've given everything I have but nothing seems to change the way you feel for Me
All the lies I listened to and never knowing whether you would ever be true
I'm really tired of being walked on, but I can't seem to leave you I still love you
You say you really need me that you won't decieve me, well I've heard that old line before
Chorus:
What does it get me
What does it get me
What does it get me
Only sorrow and pain
Now your back again, and I won't pretend that I don't care about the love we once shared
You know that it's not right, but thats alright I've been your fool to many times to turn you away
I should know by now, yes really know that it's just not the way things were meant to be
You say you really need me and you won't decieve me, well I've heard that old line before

The energy level is there...right off the top...(eddie money) atmosphere with that drive!!
Kool guitar work!...vocal energy was right up there with the performance...
Heard what dazed heard too...edit- splice?...hum?...anywho, good toon! Enjoyed. b.

Excellent number, for some reason it has a vague familiarity, but I'm not sure if I've heard it somewhere else. really enjoyed this one well done

No we never learn, do we. But at least it gives us something to write songs about. Really solid rocking track with quality guitar playing, nice solid thumping bass and great vocals and harmonies. If it's Dan, great to catch up with you. If it's not sorry for the wrong name. Nice spacey outro too, which heightens the sense of despair. Nice one.
Cheers

Great guitar tracks and melody. Good Job. IJenNeh
digging the guitar work in here. great guitar tone and such a sweet rhythm section. Vocals are very well done. there is a great melody on here. There is a glitch around 2:30-2:33 that you may want to look at.

Starting Over is the solo artist project name I decided on when I decided to start playing and writing music again after some 18+ years. I play gutiar, bass, a bit of keyboards, and am learing to play the drums currently and sing. My music falls into primarily the Classic Rock genre, from Acoustic too fairly Hard Rock. Most of the music I have now is new recordings of songs I wrote in the 70's & 80's along with a few brand new ones. I hope you enjoy the music and thank you for listening. Dan
