Psychedelic mega epic rock morphing into multiple other genres. A ridiculous number of changes and progressions during this 17 min track that also features a couple of heavily manipulated vocal samples (it's rare that I use vocal samples). Strong eastern vibes, loads of bass guitar, slide resonator guitar and hard rocking electric taking in blues, electro, hard rock, metal, widescreen chillout and much more. Synth saxes, jazzy drum loops, gongs and various other far out synths. Probably too long and with too many changes for most people but I like to think they flow logically into each other. This isn't pop music! Gets really fast, heavy and crazy around 13 mins.n

Reviews below are for tracks other than Debt Black Hole that I've since removed from the site.

I really like the production on this, really tight indeed. If it's available for download, I'm going to add it to my "Chill out sessions".

Mizibya: Thanks again, glad to be of service to your ears and more. As I generally don't have any vocals, I have to try to bring out all those things you mentioned. I'm quite familiar with istrumental music that is good in parts but eventually becomes self-indulgent or meandering trying to do too much. That's OK live but not on record (not for me, anyway). So, I work very hard at making every bar, every second interesting and effective. It's a bit like trying to come up with a perfectly crafted pop song but in the much longer and more complex form. That's why I work on some tracks for years (but have been very prolific this year at starting and fininshing stuff) as if it's just not working, I just move on to another track where I'm having more success. And then I return sometime later to resurrect it wth a fresh perspective.

I'm really loving your music. It makes a change on a personal level for me to listen to instrumental compositions with such variety, originality richness and creativity.

Thanks. The most romantic thing I've done, though I have no plans to do anything similar, but hope I will. No idea how it came to me, especially as I probably made it about 6 years ago - I really can't remember (though could just check the song files' dates!). Look out for more uploads, as I guess you will...

Thanks, Wherewolf. Glad you liked it. I'm still not finished with it as I'm not happy with all the vocals (there are so many!), especially after one reviewer complained that they were off-key (flat?). Tell me if you think there are any problems with them, though your review suggests not.
I work very hard to build pieces of music to keep the listener interested. That's the thing with far-out instrumental music - there's no obvious structure. I try to make sure every section is just as good,or better, than the last and do agonise over what to leave out and include and also spin off into a separate piece of music.
The guitar FX are very simple. I guess you're referring to my doubling up of parts, with one an octave lower. It's very easy to do and I can explain in more detail if you like and are interested in getting this sound for yourself.
The title isn't really a proper title, just a pun on the singer's name (Daisy). I said that the opening, chant-like vocals sounded a little like she'd travelled off to do vocal incantations in some Far Eastern temple (but brought along a funky bass player to accompany her). So put the two together and you get...Temple Daze.
I shall check out more of your 55 or so tracks as time goes on. I think I've done a couple of reviews already...
