Leave Me Alone

<p>Stephanie Kay Hussar, born May 5th 1990, is an American Pop/Dance singer and songwriter.</p><p>Stephanie Kay has loved music since a young age. "When I was little I put shows on every week for my family (singing classics or making up songs as I went). Even though I'm sure they were sick of it, they watched every single one. I used to pretend I was a famous singer/actress and would bring my boombox or karaoke machine out into the driveway and perform for the neighborhood kids. When I got a little bit older, I started making up my own songs my goofing around on my dad's guitar and recording them on cassette on the karaoke machine.</p><p>Stephanie was always passionate about music but it wasn't until more recent years that she got more serious about her music. "Around age 12 I recieved the first Sony Acid recording program for pc. That's when the real creativity started. I produced, wrote, and sang my own songs. This is when I realized that singing and music wasn't just a hobby, it is my passion. My escape from the world."</p><p>Stephanie accredits some of her passion for music to her parents. "Both my parents have a love for music. My mom is a great singer and pianist and also plays the guitar. My father has lots of instruments in which he toys with. We've had everything from drums, to violins, to old pianos, to acoustic and electric guitars. I grew up being surrounded by music and had free run of the instruments and recording equipment."</p><p>Now, at age 21, Stephanie certaintly has made a start for herself in the independent/underground music world. She has created over 60 songs, all of which are written (lyrically and melodically) by Stephanie. Most of her instrumentals are produced by others. "I was hesitant to start uploading my music to websites and to see what people had to say since it's all home made, just by me with no input or help from anyone else. It was great to recieve such great, positive feedback and to have constant inqueries for collaborations or use of my acapellas."</p><p>Although Stephanie Kay is not signed to any label, she remains an independent artist and has worked with other independent artists, DJs, and small record labels. She has recieved air play locally and internationally on the radio and in clubs across the country. She also has vocals on a few studio albums by other artists.</p><p>"I make music and sing because its my passion, I'm not looking for fame or fortune. I want people to hear my music and be able to relate to it and appreciate it. Music is a universal language that can touch people everywhere. I just want to be a part of it because music is a big part of me."</p>
