Funkalicious from the get-go. I feel like there could be more variation and soul with the drums, as well as letting the guitar SOAR like it's already wanting to at 2:30-ish. 4 stars.

Silky smooth, and seriously cool. So much so this one wears shades. Very good backing, with some arty guitar work. Excellent piece well done

Very fine and smooth playing Stephen! If you are playing a Tele, you sure make it sound mellow sweet and move it away from it's signature Nashville twang. Nice work! Now would the real Stephen Foster please stand up lol! There are two of you here at the Mix and from what I've heard so far, you're both excellent guitar players!

There is a nice harmonic balance and a rich tonality in the track. Though what I miss are some marked transitions from one section to the next. The guitar provides a nice lead but it would be more enhanced if there was some form of interplay with another instrument. Besides that the nice shaker could be moved it a little into the background and the kick and snare pushed a little more into the front. I feel the mix is a little contained and could be given greater bredth and a higher level of distinction. Getting back to the intro, it could be used in an inter mezzo of sorts to give the song a breather in the mid section before maxin out. Its got some very infectious elements.
I enjoyed listening to your song - a whole 6-7 times. And what I point out is merely my opinion- not fact! THANKS FOR SHARING. I enjoyed it. Feels more like Jazz Funk Fusion than Acid jazz
